Dependences Management Process
Two types of dependences can be identified :
- The dependences linked to the project that clearly show the critical paths requiring a comprehensive schedule.
- The dependences that cannot be planned and that can have functional, technical or organisational impacts.
Establishing a centralised management gives the project a fixed structure and puts in place a system dedicated to its good management, particularly thanks to the centralisation of information. Managing the dependences ensures its traceability, allows to meet the deadline more easily and favours reporting.
Finally, by taking charge of the coordination of the dependent teams, we give overall coherence to all the dependences within the project portfolio. We are then able to help you point out all the dependences and make them explicit in order to avoid any misunderstanding or misinterpretation and so make a better risk and alert assessment.
